Newlook Clothes Haul

The other weekend I went into my local Newlook and all of the new Autumn stock was in so I went ahead and bought a few things although some of these items aren't autumnal just adding a scarf to them would make it look great. I decided today to show you what I got as I love everything and I highly recommend checking Newlook out if your'e looking for some new clothes to add to your wardrobe.

Grey & Black Body
For ages I have avoided body's as I just never really saw the point in them but I got some to try out and so far I really like them, I got two plain ones to put under clothes like my checkered shirt or anything else.

Burgundy Striped Body
This caught my eye when I went into the shop because it is a lovely colour and because it has a scoop neck which is something I don't usually go for but I love this top so much and I can't wait to wear it throughout the next few months!

Funnel Neck T-Shirt
This isn't anything fancy but I like to get a plain top every now again because its something easy just to throw on for day to day use and I love the fact this top has a funnel neck.

Green & Blue Checkered Shirt
Currently I am obsessed with shirts, I love how they look and how they are so comfortable to wear and I loved the colour of this one, the fabric is quite thick which I find really good because it will keep me warm.

Grey Turtle Neck Jumper
I am actually wearing this jumper for the first time while writing this blog post and I love it, I feel so autumnal and cosy, it is a reasonably long jumper and the fabric is so so soft! This is definitely my favourite out of all the things I bought.

I have linked all of the items so if you want to have a look at them just click on the names, All of these items were under £15 and I find that a really good deal for such great quality clothes, I finally feel ready for Autumn!

September Favourites

I can't believe that its already the end of September! As I haven't done a favourites post in ages I have decided to do one today, some of these items I have mentioned in other posts but this month they have been used more then ever.

L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara
I got this a while ago to try but until a week ago I hadn't given it a go, it has now replaced my Maybelline mascara in my makeup routine. I definitely recommend this because lengthens and separates my lashes easily and lasts throughout the whole day.

Benefit Dallas Blush
I have used this product for a while now but recently I have been picking it up more because now that its Autumn this pink/plum coloured blush is perfect!

All The Bright Places
This has got to be one of my favourite books now, the story line is great and after reading it twice i'm still not bored of it. If you haven't read this yet then I urge you to read it, I also hope to read some of the other books by this author because they to look great.

Tiger Flower Cup
I'm not actually sure what this is supposed to be used for but I bought it because I loved the design on the cup and currently it sits on my desk with a few pens in it. This is one of my favourite things because its quite unusual.

High Neck Jumper
The other day I went to Newlook and bought a few clothes for Autumn (all of which will be shown in a post next week) and I spotted this and had to get it, it is a lovely fabric and its long and cosy, so perfect for Autumn! I won't go into much detail as I will also be writing about it in my next post.

So these are the things I have been loving in the past month and I can't wait for the next few months to come!

Zoella's WHSmith Book Club

I have a big love for books so when I heard about Zoella's Book Club earlier in the summer holidays I had to get it! I took all the books on holiday and by the end of my first week there I had read all eight of them, once I had started a book I couldn't put it down. I decided to do this post so that if you haven't heard about the Book Club you will find out about it and to also give you some idea of what I thought each book was like (don't worry there are no spoilers!).

Zoella's Book Club is available for £34.99 in which you get given 8 books to keep, if you were to buy all eight books separately the price would be considerably more expensive so it is a great buy! The 8 books that you get given are; Everything Everything, The Sky Is Everywhere, Billy And Me, Fangirl, Beautiful Broken Things, All The Bright Places, We Were Liars and The Potion Diaries. I found all the books had good story lines and kept me interested so I definitely recommend them but I picked three of my favourite books out of the bunch and those were; Fangirl, All The Bright Places and Everything Everything, those three books were all quite different but I literally couldn't stop reading them, All The Bright Places made me tear up a little but never the less it was still an amazing book.

I can't wait to read more books by these authors this year, another thing is very recently I discovered an app called Wattpad, if you haven't heard of it its basically an app where anyone can post there own stories and if you love to read I recommend it so much as I have read several great books on there.

5 Ways You Could Prepare For Your GCSE's

When I go back to school this year I am going to be in year 11 and will be sitting my GCSE exams near the end of the school year which I have to say is an extremely scary thought! Although its a little early to start revising it will be useful in the future so I have found 5 ways that you can prepare for your GCSE's for my sake and if any of you are soon to be doing your GCSE's or are in the same year as me I hope you find this post useful.

1. Start revising early in the year
This isn't a necessary thing but it could be useful to start revising topics from the start of the year so that when your exams come you don't have as much work to do before them.

2. Buy/make a revision booklet
In the picture at the top of this post is a 10 subject notebook which I bought from Paperchase and I think it is a great thing to have because it means you can have all of your revision posters, mind maps etc. in one place and in organised sections. Making it easier to revisit and carry around.

3. Create a revision timetable
To organise your time to make sure that you do revision you can make a revision timetable which will help encourage you to revise, you can either make one yourself or if you type 'revision timetable' into google there are loads of free websites that will do this.

4. Use mind maps
This may not be your favourite way to revise as everyone has different ways they find easiest but I love using mind maps and to me they help a lot because all the information is in one place, if you haven't tried this I definitely recommend it.

5. Remember to relax as well
Obviously there is a time where you have to relax and for a while just try and not stress about your upcoming GCSE's (I know that is very hard), to do this just make sure to take a break between revising every now and again.

I think I will be using most of these ways when I come to start revising and I hope that you all found this useful in some way to. Also to anyone that got there GCSE or A level results back this summer I hope that you got everything your worked for.

What is your advice for preparing for GCSE's?

Cyprus | Travel Diaries

I ended up going to Cyprus again this year and I have to say it is such a lovely country to visit and every time we go I enjoy my time there so much. This time we stayed just outside a little village called Miliou in the mountains but was only a short distance to the sea, although Miliou is only a small village it was home to an award winning tavern, where the food was amazing and the staff/owners where so nice and welcoming. There was also several nature trails in the area, one of which we ended up going down near the end of the holiday.

On most days we would find ourselves in Polis or Latchi which are two coastal towns situated just a short drive from where we were staying, in Latchi there was a harbour where you could rent a boat out for a day or have a go at a number of different watersports available there. One of my favourite places we went to was the blue lagoon, it is a large bay only accessible mainly by boats or quad bikes, there the water is crystal clear and its generally such a lovely relaxing place to go to, if you ever find an opportunity to go there I definitely recommend it. We also attempted one day to drive to the Trodos mountains which is the largest mountain range in Cyprus but only managed to get about half way there as we didn't realise how far it actually was however there was some stunning views along the way and plenty of interesting places to stop at so the day wasn't wasted in the end.

Cyprus is definitely a beautiful place to visit and I hope in the future I will get to see more of the island.

Update | Blogging

Some of you may have noticed that my blogging routine has become very all over the place and I have missed several weekends of blog posts including the last two, this has partly been because I have been busy or I haven't had any good ideas for a post. I have also found that the quality of my posts have gone down because I have had to quickly make a post up the night before which is something I hate doing.

I have decided that I am going to stop blogging from now until the middle of August so that I can have a break and focus more on school. I really hope that once I come back I can start creating better blog posts for you all to read.

I hope you all have a great few months and thank you to everyone that follows me and reads my posts I am so grateful for you all.

Spring OOTD

Top  |  H&M
Jeans  |  Topshop
Shoes  |  Converse
Watch  |  Daniel Wellington
Ring  |  Pandora

Last weekend me and my friend Hannah decided to go out and take some pictures for an outfit post, so before starting I want to say thank you to Hannah for taking these photos for me and you should all go and have a look at her amazing blog!

This outfit isn't very spring based but around this time of year I am still just switching from big jumpers to looser clothing however I recently picked up this long sleeved, high neck top from H&M which I have been loving and I had to include it in this post. My favourite thing about this look is my watch which is the womens classic sheffield watch from Daniel Wellington that I got for my birthday, I absolutely love it! I wear it everyday and I find it goes with every outfit making it look a bit more put together.

I hope you enjoyed this post, I love making these types of post so hopefully soon there will be a more summery outfit post for you all.
